Deer Valley® Resort

With 66 total runs and 1,050 acres of terrain, as well as several lighted trails, Brighton Resort enjoys an average of 500 inches of snow annually. And if you have children 10 years of age and under – guess what? They ski for free.
Snowbird
Snowbird’s lifts usually open earlier in the season for those who prefer to ski earlier on than in the middle of the colder months. The resort also offers a wide variety of activities outside of the slopes, so don’t fret if you’re not an avid skier or snowboarder. Any visitor will be happy to have this gem near their home for quick day trips to the slopes.
Alta Ski Area
Renowned for its deep powder and superb terrain, Alta is a definite local favorite. The pristine powder and reasonable lift tickets make Alta a skier’s paradise. Because of its location at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta promises absolute best panoramic views from its slopes.
Solitude
If you’re looking for a quiet retreat to escape to, Solitude Ski area is just the place for you. Dating back to the early 1900s, the mountain has been a place for families to head to for a day of fresh powder. Conveniently located 34 miles from Salt Lake International Airport, Solitude is an ideal place to meet the out-of-state family for a weekend away.
